Insights of Accreditation
by: Harris Jhosta
Requirements for licensing and/or authorization for educational institutions vary from state to state in the United States. Most states require that a learning institution be certified, authorized and/or accredited in order to award degrees to students. There are some schools out there that do not meet these requirements. In fact, there are several levels of fraud found in some educational programs and “schools.” They range from using the student’s work history as the “learning” period that earned the degree to simply selling diplomas. These “diploma mills” have been around for decades. Online degrees programs like Degrees-R-Us promise a bachelor’s, masters or doctoral degree in about 10 days. (There is a higher tuition fee if you want to graduate with honors!)
Now, however, there are some states (Oregon, Iowa, and South Dakota) that are cracking down on schools within their borders that grant degrees without any type of approval and legitimate accreditation. There are also some states (Wyoming, Montana, and Hawaii) that allow unaccredited universities to do business as long as they have a physical presence in the state. The problem is that when a state does pass legislation that requires accreditation, those schools simply change addresses (when you don’t have a campus, it’s not that difficult to move). The question of jurisdiction also comes into play. If the institution has an address in one state but sends out degrees from another state, then which state is responsible for it?
How ADD Affects Child Education And Schooling

How ADD Affects Child Education And Schooling
by: Sarah K. Jenkins
Educating a child with Attention Deficit Disorder may not be an easy process. Although great strides have been made in recognizing the disorder and many school systems have answered the call, many are still antiquated in their procedural methods as well as catering to specific circumstances.
How ADD affects a classroom is usually seen before diagnosis takes place. It may be seen in the little girl in the corner, twirling her hair as she looks out the window, or the boy running around the other students snatching books out of their hands. In many cases, it is the teacher that first recognizes an issue with inattentiveness and/or hyperactivity. Seeing the problem is usually considerably easier than correcting it.
Once the situation is brought to everyone’s attention and diagnosis is made, treatment begins. Whether the child is medicated becomes a major aspect of how the next steps will go. Some schools insist that children with ADD be medicated, almost to the point of tyranny. Other schools, however, are more open to parents’ wishes.

All Scholarship Applications are Alike, Right?
by: Dale Clifton, The Scholarship Doctor
Evaluating thousands of scholarship applications has
definitely left an impression on me. I still remember
some of them, because the students who submitted them
managed to get into my head in a personal way.
Many books and articles will tell you that “personalization”
is good, but they don’t tell you how to accomplish
that. I saw a photo attached to an app showing the
senior student shaking hands with the President of
the United States. Another enclosed an audio tape that
revealed his talent to play the fiddle in a country
band. A girl had her photograph taken with a well-
known professional golfer after she had won a state
tournament. A boy included a picture of his debating
trophies. Another had won a two day fishing tournament
and held the trophy in a picture to prove it. Another
had built his own computer. Still, another had patented
her own invention, a device for counting inventory
units. In each case the items were part of the

Choosing The Best Accounting Schools
by: Robert Thatcher
Accounting is defined as the measurement of assurance about certain information in the aid of resource allocation for managers and other decision makers. The most popular and most commonly practiced branch of accounting is financial accounting. This branch of accounting involves processes where data is recorded, summarized, analyzed, organized, interpreted and communicated to others concerned. Many individuals are enticed to enter the accounting field because it can be a very lucrative job.
Accounting is a very exciting field. It presents many opportunities for growth and development. It is perfect for individuals who are fond of solving problems and who are comfortable with working with numbers.
So you wanted to learn accounting and become a professional accountant? Don’t know what accounting school is right for you? With the increasing number of schools and colleges offering accounting courses, the choice of accounting school can get really confusing.
The best thing you can do in choosing an accounting school is to first determine and preferably list down the things you are looking for in a school. After doing this, the next step is to weigh the pros and cons of each school to determine which one could meet your needs.

School for Children with Social Difficulties
by: Ben Sidman
Choosing a school for children with social difficulties is a very difficult task. Parents know that the school they chose will have a big impact on their child’s self-confidence, their ability to learn and their childhood experiences. Get it right and you can help them learn and overcome many barriers and many difficulties they may have. Get it wrong and it can become practically a daily nightmare.
What are the options?
There are four ways to teach children with social difficulties:
• Home Education or Private Tutoring
• Special Schools for children with learning difficulties
• Private Education
• Regular State School that has special needs facilities
Each of these schools will have their own set of benefits and disadvantages. If you are looking for a specific type of school that teaches children with social difficulties then you may be lucky to have one close by or unfortunate to find that the closest one is 100 miles away. So your options are limited to what’s available or what you are prepared to extend to.
Which option will be best?

Steer Clear Of The Online Scams Rewarding Degrees In 5 days!
by: Linda Correli
Online learning becomes more accepted, that’s why it is getting harder to identify, which online educational establishments require students to finish legitimate coursework, and, which are diploma mills. The situation gets more perplexing as many legitimate universities and colleges turn to distance learning; so many students make up their minds to take classes online and get their degrees remotely.
A degree is one of the most important and expensive money investments people will have to make in their lifetime. Without a degree career doors remain closed for the majority of potential applicants. Though, the academic choice is not about to dice, putting the future career promotion at stake.
However, up to the moment more and more people, who are looking for the better career choices, and are in search of the edge in the competitive job market fall into the trap of the online scams, who offer to reward any degree in a very short period of time, sometimes as less as in five days.

So You Wanna Have a College Degree Do Ya??
by: Arch McNab
You come out of the front door of the house trailing drips of coffee and loose scraps of paper leaving the kids screams and the wife’s ‘be careful honey’ in your wake. Juggling everything you struggle to open the door of the rust heap that you charitably call ‘the ride’. Once inside you realize that you have left the keys dangling in the keylock. No problem you think as you unwind the window thinking to yourself that well, at least it isn’t a power window so you don’t have to drag your sorry butt out of the car. As the window gives a little jerk and then a thud that announces with a certain finality that, yes its off its track, you realize the futility of congratulating yourself on anything today.
“Today is a Monday, today is a Monday”, squeak the protesting windshield wipers as you move from the center of the street closer to the edge trying to avoid the road spray of passing cars who seem to instinctively know that your driver’s side window won’t roll up. Somehow the fact that it’s almost March seems to make your wet left arm even colder and you idly wonder if it’s possible to get pneumonia through a soggy forearm. Luckily there’s a parking spot down at the far end of the lot, well past the paved section but then if you’re five minutes late, you have to take what is left.

Discover How To Pass Your Exams With Flying Colors
by: Linda Correli
Examinations are a regular part of the school, college and university environment, which is considered to be a flexible form of learning and teaching process that aims at investigation of a student’s knowledge of a particular subject.
However, nothing makes students gloomier than the prospect of exams. Even the word examination itself makes students shudder. There are no doubts that for the majority of students examinations are something like death, which has the unpleasant inevitability to be faced sooner or later. Exam inevitability often creates a great deal of tension, and can become a cause of procrastination, work block, anxiety, and panic attacks, especially, when students feel overloaded by the amount of work they are required to accomplish.
To say nothing of countless hours of sitting for examinations that is accompanied by cramming, sleepless nights, and very often turns out to be very distressing and debilitating. Indeed, different people deal with exams in different ways. Some people may seem to be able to handle with the pressure; others get agitated, anxious, bad-tempered, and can even become seriously ill and depressed.

Journalism is a great area of photographers, who can specialize in news photography, or maybe sports photography. Some photographic journalists specialize in magazine photography, recording fashion and the lives of the famous. 3 Tips For Being A Successful Distance Learning Instructor
by: Kris Bickell
Are you looking to teach an online course for the first time? Or have you already taught online but are looking for some tips to help you become more effective?
The world of online learning is expanding at a rapid pace.
More courses are being offered and more students are enrolling every semester. And while teaching an online course can be done while sitting at your computer in your pajamas, being an effective online instructor requires a good deal of practice and preparation.
Of course, teaching online does take away the face to face involvement with students. Nothing can take the place of seeing a student smile after finally understanding a difficult concept.
But online teaching can be even more rewarding than on-campus teaching, when done well.
What makes an effective online instructor?
While good teaching involves a large number of qualities and techniques, effective online teaching centers on three main points:
1) You must be clear about your expectations!
